Growing Heads is a practical school leadership development programme in the context of the self-improving school system and incorporates a unique school-based project where delegates work in conjunction with a Governor.
These sessions will enable you to challenge yourself as a leader who is looking towards Headship in the coming years. You will learn and practice the skills of leadership and reflect on effective delegation and on the accountability of the role of Head of School and Headteacher. You will work on a school-based project in conjunction with a Governor and receive challenge and support from other leaders who are also at this crucial point in their career.

“My head only said yesterday in my PM appraisal review how much of an impact she feels this course has had for me, and I agree. I feel I can understand her position of head even more and can support her more in areas which I felt less confident before”.
